Hey everyone, its already June 5th, and my departure date is coming up. I'm leaving for Denmark on August 3rd or 4th. I have about 2 more months in the states and the realization that I'm leaving for a year is really hitting me. I am so excited, but also, I will admit, a little scared. I have talked to all of my host families and I know what town I'm living in and what school I'm going to (its Allerod Gymnasium, it shows up on google). I am really looking forward to my next adventure in life. I graduate on the 15th of June, and thats crazy as well. The past four years of high school have felt like a breeze. I plan to spend my summer before I set off for Denmark with my friends and family. I also want to appreciate all the things I wont have there, like the beautiful landscapes of Northern California. I am trying to understand and learn some Danish but let me tell you, it's a very hard language. Well thats pretty much all for now, I am looking forward to my departure date and the time I can spend in Denmark making friends, experiencing the culture, and learning all kinds of new things.
